I read her article about being kind and wanted to share it with you. Being kind to others not only helps them but also helps ourselves. Being kind and compassionate is much needed and also being kind and compassionate to yourselves. Not being overcritical to ourselves or other people. Being critical doesn’t help it only increases any negative feelings and feelings of rejection if we are critical to someone else. Being kind and compassionate to other people has a ripple effect where people feel uplifted and then this positive interaction enables them to continue being positive perhaps for the rest of their day and makes it more likely that they will have further positive interactions with other people that day. All our interactions with other people affect them negatively or positively in some way, however small.
If you are having a difficult day/week try being extra kind and compassionate to yourself and other people. This is one way to focus on positive emotions instead of negativity. Helping other people also helps you too.
If you had judgemental or critical parents or siblings it is much more likely that you will be overly self critical and harsh to yourself without realising, so try to be aware of how you talk to yourself and foster self kindness and compassion for yourself to make up for this. Don’t push yourself too hard. Ask for help, don’t struggle on with problems without reassessing and finding ways to make the situations easier and finding options and ways to overcome difficulties. Being self critical, overly harsh and pushing yourself too hard, often makes a difficult situation or problem worse rather than improves it, as we don’t make good decisions when we are too critical and harsh.
Being kind to yourself, practising self care and kindness and compassion every day for yourself.
Listen to your own feelings and take time to relax. Have people in your life who listen to you, respond to you with concern, care, compassion and kindness.
How your intuition can help you know if a decision is right or wrong and how can you build trust in your intuition?
You can know if a decision is right or wrong by how you feel after deciding it, if your decision makes you feel good and you are comfortable with it, then this means it is right for you, if your decision makes you feel uncomfortable or negative in any way such as unhappy, sad, frightened or worried then it is a decision that is not right for you and needs to be reassessed.
Your gut feeling in your gut or stomach can tell you if you are making a right or wrong decision, if it is a wrong decision for you, then you could feel a sinking feeling, or discomfort such as anxiety or tenseness in your solar plexus region/ gut or stomach. If it is the right decision you will feel a calmness/light or pleasant feeling in your gut/stomach or a knowing feeling.
Your intuition can tell you if a decision is right or wrong by a feeling of knowing that you get, you may instinctively know that something is right for you. You can also feel the energy around you which may help to give you a sense of whether your decision is right or wrong for you or you could pick up on the signs/energies from other people connected to your decision. Intuition occurs spontaneously so it is something that you don’t have to think over and over about.
You can know if a decision is right or wrong by meditating and feeling the energy when you meditate at the same time as thinking about what you have decided to do, then if you feel that the energy is negative or makes you feel unhappy in any way then you can reconsider if your decision is the right one for you.
You can build trust in your intuition by listening to it, doing what it says in your day to day life and then you will see that it is true to what is best for you. Listening to how your gut/solar plexus region feels is good way. However, if you have doubts or fears in your life, anxiety problems or you worry a lot, these need to be addressed so that they are not confused with natural gut feelings which are linked to your intuiton.
Your intuition could come to you in your inner voice, your voice in your ‘mind’, and this can be difficult sometimes to distinquish between ordinary thoughts and your intuition talking to you, but quite often your intuition is a small voice which is softer and quieter than the ordinary voice of your thoughts, and again, when you hear this softer voice pay attention to it, because this is speaking through your life’s knowledge and experience and it will become easier to hear it and listen to it with practice and by following it’s advice and seeing that it knows what is good for you.
If you have difficulty hearing this small voice then listen to your feelings and try and feel what is in the stillness and to pick up on any thoughts or feelings which come through if you mediate on something, e.g. think about what it is you would like some intuitive input about and then meditate by sitting quietly and listening to your breath.
Why you might guide your clients to develop their intuition,
A client may be having problems in their life because of bad decisions they are making for themselves, decisions which are taking them in a direction which is not right/not good for them, they could come to with problems which have been caused by making a bad decision and asking for advice on how to change their life and how to make better decisions.
A client could come to you saying that they are not good at listening to their intuition and ask for help to access it better and to hear it better and how to understand when it is their intuition talking to them.
A client could be at a point in their life where they want to find a new direction and want to make sure they make the right decisions and they want to be able to access their intuition to help them make these decisions.
A client could be having financial problems and want help to develop their intuition so that they can overcome this problem.
A client might be having repeated relationship problems and feels that they keep choosing the wrong person for them, and want to develop their intuition so that they can feel better who to choose to go out with and so that they don’t keep going out with people who are not good for their life.
A client may be wanting to work in some type of spiritual concern such as mediumship and want to develop their intuition for their spiritual work.
A client may say they have difficulty knowing what is right or wrong for them and their life, they could say that they feel adrift and out of sync with themselves/ their true self or feel they are off course somehow and you think that helping develop their intuition will help them to find out and make new or better choices for their life.

To help find release from any worries and fears today:
Just for today, I will not worry…
Kenyoku, dry bathing
In Japan, at the entrance to a temple, people cleanse themselves with water before entering. This is a method of cleansing using energy instead of water. It helps to release your negative energy, which is often in the from of worries, anxieties, stress, negative thoughts and emotions.
Sit down comfortably and close your eyes, with your right hands fingertips, slowly, touch your left shoulder, and go from your left shoulder in the air, above and across your body, to your right hip, breathe normally, and listen to your breath.
With your left hands fingertips, touch your right shoulder, and go from your right shoulder, in the air, above and across your body, to your left hip.
Again, with your right hands fingertips touch your left shoulder, and go from your left shoulder, in the air and above, across your body, to your right hip.
Then, with your right hands fingertips touch your left shoulder and trace a line down your arm to your fingertips, and brush off into the air from your fingertips.
With your left hands fingertips, touch your right shoulder, and trace a line down your arm to your fingertips, and brush off into the air from your fingertips.
And then repeat again, with your right hands finger tips touch your left shoulder and trace a line down your arm to your fingertips, and brush off into the air from your fingertips.
This is called dry bathing. It is a reiki way to release worries and fears, and to release holding onto them.
After you have done this twice, you could sit still with your eyes closed for a couple of minutes relaxing.
Dry bathing can be done any time, once or twice a day is fine.

I have been painting on rocks this week and have done 3 up to now and nearly finished 5 with another just started and it is so much fun, I am really enjoying it. It is surprisingly easy to paint on them as well and of course because you are only doing a small part of a painting, it is a lot quicker to finish than a painting. I have been painting animals, birds and acquatic creatures on them.
Hey, in Cornwall, swimming, meditating, Reiki, Reiki shares, teaching Reiki, sitting on the beach, have reiki on your favourite beach if you like, haha, wouldn’t that be great, sat on a beach in the sunshine, having a reiki session, with it being a lovely sunny summer, although it is raining this morning, we could have a reiki share or a reiki session in your garden if you would prefer an appointment outdoors, I am mobile to your home/work/or arrange an appointment at your favourite beach.
Well, I won’t need to water the vegetables or plants today, they are getting plenty of rain this morning, so it will just the ones in the greenhouse to do. So glad to see the rain this morning, but hoping it will turn sunny this afternoon. I went to Carne beach yesterday, wow it is beautiful, lovely clear sea.
I have been swimming in the sea in Falmouth today, Maenporth beach, which is a lovely clear water beach with a cafe, toilets and car park right at the beach. The water was very cold but I do believe that having a dip or a swim in cold water is good for you, but best when it is sunny and you don’t get too before or after. Then back to the house and smoked haddock with new potatoes for dinner and a cup of tea.
I’m in Cornwall for 2 weeks, enjoying the sunshine, the sea and Cornish pasties. Went to St Ives yesterday and bodyboarding at Porth Meor, not a lot of surfing going on but enjoyed the afternoon there. Going to Porth Pean today- Sunday for a dip in the sea there. Staying at a lovely house with a beautiful garden and 2 lovely cats.
Meditating in the garden and doing Hatsurei Ho in the sunshine. If anyone would like to hold a Reiki share at their house in Cornwall with their family or friends, give me a call, or to have Reiki appointment at your own house. Mobilie to you in Cornwall. To find out more, just give me a call/text to be sure of a quick reply. 07954 192916 Sheila
