Feng Shui For your Home

Feng Shui is useful in the home because this Chinese originating practice allows/enables energy to flow easily by how objects etc are positioned in the home/buildings/working environments and what other objects are in the home such as plants, and by considering how many objects e.g. furniture is there and general household things or personal belongings which are in a room.  It is also useful because this can bring about also bring about changes for the better in people’s lives.  What you have in your house and how it is arranged influences the atmosphere in it, along with any noises in it, light, plants, colours, images, views, all affect how you feel and can affect your mood, thinking, behaviour, energy levels and your ability and drive to do what you need to do.  The aim of Feng Shui is to make sure rooms are set up in such a way that it all assists people to do whatever they want to do in it.

Everything that you have in your home creates an energy and adds to the atmosphere in the spaces. When a client comes to me for help in their home, we have a consultation and this brings to light any challenges they are having right now and what they are wanting to do in their life and if their home. I would consider them and their home holistically, so their feelings, energy, and what they are doing at this point and what they are wanting to do. They may be aiming to feel calmer and more relaxed and ones environment needs to be conducive for this. They may be wanting to make changes in their life or aiming for personal growth. All these things are taken in to account.

There are 5 Feng Shui Elements: wood, earth, fire, water and metal. Each element helps to invoke a particular mood and achieve a goal. So all these need to be represented in the home to help align the energies with the universe and to assist the flow of energy through the house and so that the space in the home is conducive to bring into it what you want to bring into your life.

The energy is called Qi in Feng Shui and this encompasses the energy of many things in nature such as the flow of water, our thoughts and emotions, the air around us, sunlight and colours. The Qi in a space influences it’s atmosphere and how we feel, think and behave in it, and whether or not the Qi can flow and circulate in a harmonious and beneficial way.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Reiki Therapy in Yorkshire.

Reiki therapy is a growing natural healing system. I work in Yorkshire primarily, but can travel further afield, if someone wants me to.  You can come to Wakefield for a treatment or have distant healing.  For anything I need health wise, I give Reiki energy a chance to help me, by connecting to it, with my thoughts, and asking healing energy to go to whatever I want it to. I am pleased to say that doing therapy training in Yorkshire, is one of the best things I have ever decided to do. I have been doing Zen meditation for twenty years, and was amazed to find a healing system, where meditation, is part of the training and part of what Reiki Masters do regularly. I do Zen meditation when I do Reiki for myself often, and when I do Reiki for others. It is the part of Reiki whereby, you shut your eyes, focus on your breath, and let thoughts drift by, and meditate. When I am doing Reiki for someone, I let the energy to go to the recipient where it needs to go, and I use my intuition, and let the energy guide my hands as well. I utilise Reiki life force energy for myself for everything. Yorkshire is a beautiful county. The people are friendly, and there is a lot to do in Yorkshire. There are historic cities, and towns, and picturesque villages, and countryside. The Yorkshire coast is a favourite destination for a day trip by the seaside. Reiki therapy in Yorkshire is one of the things that is becoming more and more popular. I am making it one of my goals, to help everyone to hear about their ability to receive life energy, and to have the opportunity to try it. My name is Sheila Williams and I am a Reiki Master and teacher,  ring 07954 192916, between 9 am and 9 pm, seven days a week.

What can Reiki Help with

What can Reiki Help with

‘Will it help me?’ A question I have been asked a lot. There are many things that Reiki can help with. But it will only have the chance to help you, if you try it. At a social group I went to, I gave Reiki life energy to a man with a painful back, and pain due to requiring prostrate surgery, a woman with a painful neck, and a woman with a painful back. Also, I was sat next to a woman whose husband had a knee operation, and that was painful, and as she talked about her husband’s difficulty, I asked the energy to go to him via her. Next time I saw the people at the group. They all said that they felt fine, and that they hadn’t had any pain recently. The wife whose husband had a knee operation, said that the nurse had seen his knee and commented that she was surprised how quickly it was healing, and her husband had started going for short walks.

Reiki is worth trying for all health problems, and illnesses, and disabilities. It might help in some way. There are no contra indications, and it can be given along side medical treatments. Reiki life energy is natural, and giving and receiving it is natural. If anyone reading this would like to try Reiki life energy, I am in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. You could visit me at a venue in Wakefield, or I could come to your house. You can have an appointment with a friend or relative, if you like, and have it together or one after the other at the same location. Sheila 07954 192916 phone 9 am to 9 pm.

Reiki energy sessions: sitting or lying down

Reiki energy is a complementary therapy. A way to heal mind, body and spirit. A method to use the energy that is within all of us, around us, and in the universe. It is also very versatile. Sometimes, when I have talked to people about Reiki, they seem to think that you have to have it lying down. Then I tell them that Reiki can be done sitting in a chair or on the sofa. You don’t have to be able to lie on a table for it. Some people, like myself, are not comfortable lying on a table.

When I go to Reiki energy shares I have it sitting in a chair.  People place their hands above my head, on my shoulders, or arms, or hold their hands at a slight distance away without touching. And I feel like I am floating in a ball of energy.

The energy will work just as well whether you are sitting down or lying down. Whatever is most comfortable, and convenient at the time. When I do Reiki for myself, I could be sitting on my arm chair in the living room, lying in bed, sat on a park bench, or sat on the beach. Reiki will work in many circumstances, anywhere, sitting down or lying down.

Feel the energy

I have felt the energy many times,  and so have people I have given Reiki to.  Last week I gave Reiki to a lady who has a back bad after falling down the stairs.  She said that she could feel warm energy going down her spine.

Funnily enough, on that same afternoon, she bought a ticket for a draw and I was asked to pull out the winning ticket, I pulled out a ticket, and it turned out to be the same lady.  She won a small prize, and selected some kitchen rolls and kitchen cleaner.  She said that she had just been thinking that she had to go to the shops to buy some kitchen roll, and now she didn’t have to it was there in front of her. What a coincidence!
